Allan McDade is your certified inline-skate instructor for all skate lessons.

Don Morton, the founder of TrySkating and who has been helping skaters learn the best method of skating safely since 2004, has now retired from providing skate lessons, but he will remain involved for informal instruction and guidance at our Sunday Skate sessions at the Arc. Allan has been with TrySkating since 2015.

Over the years many skaters, from all walks of life, have taken lessons. It's the proper way to start if you're worried about falling, stopping or simply want advice about which skate to buy. Get that wrong and you're off to a bad start. Age limit, under 6 years to over 80 years, you're never too old to learn. It just takes a wee bit longer and a bit more practise.
